The new TTP-345 series of thermal transfer desktop barcode printers offers more performance for the price than any other printer in its class. The TTP-345 offers high-resolution 300 dpi printing at 5 ips. Both models offer 8 MB of SDRAM and 4 MB of onboard Flash memory. Gigabytes of Flash memory can be added via an integrated SDHC card reader. By using two motors instead of the usual one, the TTP-345 series printers operate with lower torque, which reduces noise, decreases wear and tear, and extends printer life. The platform’s user-friendly design makes it easy for operators to load and unload ribbons, and its 300-meter capacity is more than four times the industry standard length for desktop printers.
Technical specification
The TTP-345 series features standard USB 2.0, parallel, and serial connectivity, plus an optional Ethernet port for use in any environment. Its TSPL-EZTM printer control language is fully compatible with other TSCTM printer languages and also features TPLE (Translation Printer Language Eltron) and TPLZ (Translation Printer Language Zebra) The printer simply translates each label format as it is sent to the printer and fingerprints. TSPL-EZTM also features internal True Type scalable fonts using the Monotype font engine normally only found in more expensive printers. Loading ribbon has never been easier on a desktop printer. The TTP-345 offers plenty of finger space for easy ribbon loading and unloading, and the 300-meter capacity is more than four times the industry standard for desktop printers. Labels stored inside the printer can be rolls up to 5″ OD on a 1″ core. Using an optional external media hanger, printers can easily handle a full roll of 8.4″ OD labels on a 3″ core.
