The Edison Hotel at 228 West 47th St. is a great option for anyone visiting Manhattan and wanting to stay in true luxury.

This hotel was built in 1931 and has a beautiful Art Deco design. And as good as it looks on the outside, it is even better on the inside, where anyone who stays at this hotel truly stays in luxury.

Among the features of the Edison hotel are free wi-fi internet service, a gym, valet parking, an excellent restaurant (“Sofia’s), the Edison Ballroom, a lounge and concierge services.

But what I like most about this hotel is its location in the theater district. This makes it a great place to stay for anyone wanting to see some of the great Broadway shows.

It is also just one block from “Restaurant Row,” which features many of the best restaurants in New York City. If you are a “foodie”, you will surely check it out.

It’s also a very short walk to Times Square and just a few blocks from Rockefeller Center (where shows like Saturday Night Live and Today Show are filmed).

The N, R, and Q trains to 49th Street are less than two blocks away. I don’t think you ever had a real New York experience unless you took the subway. And unless you have a ton of money to spend on taxi rides, they really are the best way to get around town. In fact, they can often be faster than taking a taxi because the traffic is often terrible.

Now obviously a hotel of this caliber in such a perfect location isn’t cheap, but it’s not outrageously expensive either. You may be able to find a room for less than $ 200 (depending on the season and the advance of the reservation).
