There are many locations in World of Warcraft that are rich in resources and mobs with a high loot value. Very few players know all the details about each zone of the game, which means that the average WoW player resumes at only a few WoW gold farming locations, when they need money. But these areas are usually full of players, and most of the time you want to go grow something for yourself, there are already 2-3 other players who gather everything and kill all the mobs.

I’m also a casual gamer and I really hate when one of my WoW gold farming spots has too much competition. That’s why I dug up some places where not many players go.

1. Silithus. There is a lot of thorium ore in silithid insect dens on Silithus. Not many players go there because nobody likes to go underground in those lairs, and the bugs there are pretty nasty. However, with a character of level 70 or higher, you should have no problem collecting thorium ore here or killing those insects, even if they attack you in large numbers.

2. Another one of my WoW farming places where I never have competition is Eastern Plaguelands. I’m going fishing there, in the little lake near the entrance to Stratholme. The competition doesn’t really matter when you’re fishing, but no one really goes after sunscale salmon and night snapper there, and there are usually none at the auction house. This gives me monopoly power and I sell a stack for 100g or more. However, there is a downside here. Since there are no schools of fish here, you will need around 250 fishing skills and a few lures to minimize catching useless junk.

3. The third great place without competition is Blackrock Depths. Since it is an instance, unless you bring other players with you, everything is loot to you. There is a lot of Dark Iron in Blackrock Depths, mobs are elite and due to that fact they have a higher chance of dropping valuable loot, and there are plenty of bosses to kill too. Even if items dropped by bosses are bound when picked up, you can still disenchant them and sell shards, essences, and powders to AH. However, it brings a character of 80.

Now these are just the WoW gold farming places where I make my money. However, not all players have mining, enchanting, or fishing, or like to get their gold using these professions. However, there are many other methods and places to farm for gold in WoW.
