There are many different types of websites, for example, there are:

This list is not all, there are other types such as article directories and much more. All of these different types of websites have different built-in functions and programs. Chat scripts, image display scripts, calculators, shopping carts, posts, these are all different scripts that can be added to your own website to give it extra functionality, for example, Yahoo mail has scripts that allow you to send and receive messages. at your own email address.
Creating a social networking website like Facebook can be very expensive because it involves a lot of scripting and programming.
