In the first part of this project, we discussed how to start making a bell tower from marking the windows to gluing the structure. The steps we covered in part one are just the basics in preparation for part two, which is more about painting and beautifying the bell tower. Without further ado, this is the continuation of the bell tower project. So don’t worry if your project wasn’t finished in the last article. Let’s start the job:

Step 1 Cut the base

After cutting the windows, you’re going to cut a base so the walls have something to stick to. You can make it big enough to fit two space marines along the outside of the building once in place.

Step 2 Glue ice cream sticks

Begin this by cutting width channels out of popsicle sticks at each tier. Next, glue the popsicle sticks according to their place. These will give the structure enough support when everything is glued and in order. Once you finish gluing all the popsicle sticks, let it dry for 5-10 minutes.

Step 3 Paste the structure

This is where we make broken floors. Make it so that it can rest on both walls for stronger support. Hold the walls perpendicular to each other and glue the floors until dry. This will allow the building to stand on its own. Make sure the wall can support itself. Next, glue the supports to the base. Use the windows that were cut out of the walls.

Step 4 Prime the structure

Use black acrylic construction paint when siding the building. It is better to include it when painting under the floors so that if you want to take a picture, there is art.

Step 5 Create the base of the roof

Cut a base to fit the roof with appropriate side walls. After finishing cutting the base of the roof, glue the walls to the base.

Step 6 Glue the decorative pieces to the base

This step gives beauty and character to the base. You can use the windows on the walls that you cut out in the first part of the project. Stick them appropriately to the base in any way you like. Then let it sit to dry.

Step 7 Paint the base of the roof

Acrylic black paint is also what to use to paint the base. Make sure it is strong and can stand on the base before you start painting.

Step 8 Create upper tower walls

These walls will be used for the bell area. Make sure the windows are large in relation to the walls so that you can clearly see the hood outside. You can also damage them a bit if you want a ruined outlook. As for me, I like to do it to give a new look to the structure, nothing is as boring as perfectly intact buildings.

This will encourage you to make more grounds when looking at your smashed and slightly damaged bell tower because there will never be a dull moment when you are playing with it.
