When constructing a building, a lot of floor plan analysis is needed to arrive at a safe structure and excellent interiors. There are several interrelated professions that share a common task, namely: engineer, architect, interior designer, carpenter, and foreman.

A floor plan is a diagram that reveals the interior of the proposed building, including the appliances, fixtures, and all parts of the house. To make an extraordinary creation, a team effort from various fields of professions is required to create an artistically challenged masterpiece. These are the following jobs that require reading floor plans and interior decorating:

However, those who make use of a floor plan are usually civil engineers. It is also part of your duty to take care of the interior design, unless a separate interior decorator is hired. He evaluates the site where the structure will be erected and creates the layout of the building, which is called a layout or plan. This will be used as a reference from the start of construction to the completion of the project.

A blueprint is a piece of design or schematic of the structure to be built, including floor plans, electrical connections, piping, and the like. From there, they are able to formulate an idea on how to carry out their task. Although reading floor plans is not always applicable, especially for those without formal education, they can receive instructions directly from the supervisor. Since many of the carpenters are also self-employed, it is not unusual for them to be hired on a call-in basis. They will be paid immediately after the completion of the work, which is usually repairs, partitions and installation of racks. In some cases, they are given the responsibility of deciding which design would fit their interiors perfectly.
