The footprint of this bounce house is 8.5′ x 11′. It essentially measures 8.5′ x 8.5′ with the ramp/slide measuring 2.5′ x 2.5′. The manufacturer recommends a 15′ x 13′ buffer zone. The bounce area for your kids to play measures 6.5′ x 6.5′. To enter and exit the Magic Castle there is a ramp/slide entrance. This makes getting in and out much easier for younger children. The entire bounce house is enclosed with a safety net. The safety net can be sealed for safety using the Velcro opening.
While the kiddie jumpers are intended for children ages 12 and under, Blast Zone recommends this inflatable for ages 3 to 8. They are spot on with this recommendation. From a durability and construction standpoint, this bounce house can hold up to 3,100 lbs for children under 12, but this interior size makes this unit more suitable for smaller children. It’s important to note that while this unit can support up to 300 pounds, if you have a 50-pound child, you shouldn’t exceed the recommended number of users, which in this case is three. In most cases, weight capacities will never be an issue with kids’ bounce houses, it’s more user capacity. For safety reasons, you do not want many children in one hammock at the same time.

Overall I am very impressed with the quality and construction of this bounce house. Blast Zone manufactures some of the best products offered for residential use. Hands down, this is one of the best hammocks under $300 for kids ages 3-8.
