Hand-painted baseballs of famous baseball players are fast becoming a favorite among collectors of baseball memorabilia. Part of the reason is that they are still rare. Not many of us create painted baseballs. You can find baseball memorabilia strewn all over the internet, but quality, artistic baseballs are few and far between.

Another reason is that each one created is an original and unique work of art. You can buy a Hank Aaron rookie card and have a nice baseball memorabilia item. But you won’t have the only one of its kind. Even if you had the money to buy a Honus Wagner baseball card, there would still be another couple like that.

But if you invest in a hand-painted Hank Aaron baseball, you will have the only one created by that artist. No one else would have the same piece of baseball memorabilia as you. Besides the fact that it is a baseball! You can hold it in your hand and look at all the painted sides. I’m sure you know some people who collect baseball cards or other souvenirs. But how many do you know who have an original Mickey Mantle baseball with his image painted on?

The value of your painted baseball will never go down. I have seen the value of my own baseballs increase simply because they are unique. Add to that the fact that they take so long to create and you have a collectible that is so much better than a baseball card.

When I started painting baseballs, I never thought the demand would be so great. I am always painting baseballs. I have an overdue record of them. I hate having to keep my clients waiting, but it takes a long time to get them right. And you know the old saying. Good things come to those who wait.

They are also great if you are an autograph collector. I have had the privilege of introducing some of my American Major Baseballs to some famous baseball players. I will never forget the day I gave my hand-painted Bob Feller baseball to Rapid Robert himself. He loved it. It was definitely something he had never received before. A true collector’s item for him. It was so much better than giving him an old baseball card.

Hand-painted baseballs are a great investment and make a perfect gift for the baseball fan who has it all.
