Today we are looking at dating tips for men and women. Throughout our dating journey, we often find it difficult to find ways to meet new people for dates. Thanks to technology, we can now browse dating profiles and read blog posts about relationship problems through online dating websites. Still, there are other ways to find your Motivated To Marry(TM)Partner. My philosophy from a very young age is to go where the guys are. I was lucky to have an older brother and he used to play tennis, bike, run track (girls practiced with boys) and ski. I met a lot of guys during that time and always had a boyfriend since ninth grade because I liked doing what they did. I put my college boyfriend on the tennis courts!

The following dating tips are activities in which women, as a whole, would be in the minority, and I recommend that you look to meet men:

1. Everything related to sports! As a Participant: Cycling Groups, Tennis Clinics and Ladders, Ski Clubs, Track and Field Clubs, Inline Skating, Softball Teams or Coed Games, Volleyball Teams or Coed Games, Racquetball Leagues and Ladders, Clubs Golf, Kickball Teams, Ultimate Frisbee, Coed Soccer Leagues, Bowling Leagues, Weight Training in the Gym. As a spectator: Sports bars with viewing of basketball, soccer, baseball games. (Especially March Madness!) Go to college or professional sports games: baseball, basketball, soccer, and hockey.

2. Online Dating Websites – Since guys see the internet as a time and money efficient way, this is a great way to connect with guys. Also, getting into chat rooms with any topic that interests you can be a great way to connect. Here, you can check out dating profiles, receive dating advice, get answers to your relationship questions, and more!

3. For the more intellectual: bridge groups, chess groups, discussion groups on topics of male interest

4. For those more politically oriented: fundraising activities, local politics

5. Religious Institutions: Religious study classes, weekly services, social events, or speakers at your religious institution

Now my dating advice for men includes going where women are most likely to be. Women participate in these various activities, and women usually outnumber men!

1. Arts and crafts classes: weaving, pottery, fine arts: watercolor and oil painting, jewelry

2. Cooking classes, cooking schools, county classes, gourmet food demos (ie Whole Foods)

3. Exercise classes, Body conditioning classes, Yoga, Step aerobics, Stretching classes, Kickboxing, Pilates

4. Theater groups

5. Movie groups, ie. film society

6. Arts, concerts, museum events in the evenings and on weekends

7. Easy hiking groups

8. Book Clubs

9. Dance classes and dances

10. Wine tasting events

11. College Alumni Events

12. Tour groups: cruises and bus tours

13. Support groups

14. Book signings and author conferences in bookstores

15. Volunteer organizations

Now it’s your turn to get down to business and start planning some activities to meet people to date. As you can see, there is quite a list to choose from. Also, if you browse the internet and search for singles events in your geographic area, you are sure to find plenty of activities to participate in. Have fun!
